Today is a big day in "2012: a year of changes". I just submitted my first funding application to do a Ph.D. later on this year, so the whole thing is starting to feel real. You have to really big yourself up in these applications, so I ended up writing the thing as if I was going to find the cure to world hunger. In reality, I feel much more like image below. (P.S. This post was really just an excuse to show the cute dog to my sis and mam.)
